Abby Harris is a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale IL with a Bachelor of Science in photojournalism with a minor in marketing. She spent the past four years as a creative media intern for Saluki Athletics doing photo, social media, and video in the communications department for the Salukis.

Harris is the recipient of an Honorable Mention Award of Excellence from ICPA for her photo essay in the Daily Egyptian.

In Summer 2024-2025 she was employed as the Director of Photography and Creative Media for the Mainers in Sanford, Maine. May 2026, after graduating, she is looking to find an internship with a college or professional organization.
